The Back Nine after a Saturday that didn’t turn out to be so stinky after all.
1. Everyone is raving about the performance of USC freshman quarterback Matt Barkley against Ohio State, and it was impressive in that atmosphere. So what are we to make out of the news that Georgia quarterback Joe Cox has a sore arm? One ESPN report said Logan Gray would start and another said it would be Cox.
So which one is right? Who knows? It could be that Gray, who is much more athletic than Cox, will start but Mark Richt didn’t want to let the cat out of the bag. Or it could be that Joe Schad is wrong … again.

If you were wondering why Tim Tebow was wearing “Proverbs 3: 5-6″ on his eye black for Florida’s opener, Nancy Searles has provided the answer.
The local realtor had her granddaughter Makayla, who lives in West Palm Beach, at the game and at the Gator Walk. She was carrying a sign that had “Proverbs 3: 5-6″ on it.
