Tim Tebow is a young Christian Man who has inspired and set good examples for others. He has been blessed with leadership abilities which he has used to lead the U&F to many victories.

Taking the time to speak to the young girls concerning
Proverbs 3:5-6 shows his Christian Commitment. God Bless you now Tebow and in the years ahead.

Hey Chuck,

Last time I read a history book, our country was founded on religion. If you want to keep sports and religion separate, I suggest you move to a communist country. You just might fit in.

As far as Tim's convictions, our country, and world for that matter, can't have enough people that set a good example.

God bless.

Hawkhank said - I guess that means all the time practicing, watching film and game-planning is a complete waste, right? After all, understanding an opponent’s defensive tendencies is “leaning on one’s own understanding” of those tendencies, isn’t it? Recognizing a blitz package or a particular coverage is as well. If that verse is truly meaningful to Tebow, shouldn’t he eschew all of those worldly endeavors and, instead of talking to Mullen and choosing a play based on the down, distance and defense, just pray about it and wait for Jesus to send in the call? Or does the verse merely require us to “lean not on our understanding” in all areas but football? If so, why is a football game an exception?

What the verse is talking about is not putting you trust so much in our own abilities, but instead putting our trust completely in the Lord. If we do this, God promises to direct our lives.
Example: say you were unfairly called for a pass interference penalty, and you could not understand how they got it wrong. Normally you might be angry, but instead you prayed and turned it over to God and trusted in Him to handle it. Later in the game God BLESSED you with a game winning interception.
Pr 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Pr 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Tim Tebow, is a marvelous football player as well as a man of God. He holds the gift of inspiration and hope which he gives each and everyone of us some way or another. He has inspired my two younger brothers to be more open about our Lord and to evangelize to the other kids they know. I think that is awesome!!
Keep doin your thing Tim. You are so going to be rewarded in Heaven for what you do here on earth. Jus think of all the people you have led to Christ!! Praise Him!!

I am a LSU fan , but all sports should be sould be as blessed as Flordia to have a leader like Tim Tebow. For me it an honor for LSU to play them. He shows what college sports should be about. Tim in my humble opion has been blessed with much more than football awards, he as it appears to me is showing what it means to walk the narrow path. Tim I thank has won the greatest award, TEACHER BY EXAMPLE.

Tim Tebow is an inspiration to me. He represents true Christianity. If there are people who aren't Christians out there they should look at Tim Tebow's example to see how true Christianity is lived out.
