Harvin update; Tebow impressive

by admin

Although he is expected to be able to play Saturday against Florida Atlantic, Florida wide receiver Percy Harvin is still suffering from a sinus infection and migraine headaches, Florida coach Urban Meyer said Monday morning.

“He’s still really sick,” Meyer said. “He was in here (Sunday). They put two IVs in him and he (vomited) one of them out.”

Meyer also said that the game played by quarterback Tim Tebow against South Carolina “might have been one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen.

“We could have had over 700 yards of offense if not for some dropped passes. He was right on with every throw.”

Tebow ran for five touchdowns and threw for two in Florida’s 51-31 win.
