Spurrier in good form

We know that Steve Spurrier’s golf game is in shape.
As he was leaving the radio room, Spurrier spotted me and said, “Shot 72 in our coaches’ tournament the other day at Cobblestone. Bubba (Steve Jr.) shot 73.”
Man, I better start working on my game.
Spurrier also delivered the line of the day to the radio boys. He was asked about Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino, who bolted the Atlanta Falcons before the season ended.
“Bobby had about as much fun in the NFL as I did,” Spurrier said. “When he went there I said I’d give him two years. He almost made one.”
